The Pinnacle is a 4ft. wide X 6ft. high glass mural consisting of 17 individual pieces of kiln-formed glass. The term kiln-formed refers to the process of working directly in the kiln to layer, and then fuse each piece several times to achieve the desired effect. These pieces are then mounted on a three-dimensional base to form the overall mural. It took nine months to complete and was entered in the 2016 Art Prize competition in Grand Rapids, Michigan where it was on displayed at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum. The Pinnacle placed in the top 100 out of over 1,400 entries, as well as in the top 25 for its 3D category.
